Swim season doesn't have to end with summer.
The outdoor pools close, the mornings get chilly, and it’s easy to put water time on hold until June. But your little one is curious about water right now. Aqua Babies gives you a warm, calm place to keep that curiosity going, side by side, all fall and winter long.
Here's what a lesson looks like.
What You Get in Every Aqua Babies Lesson
A consistent 45-minute format: 30 minutes of guided instruction, then 15 minutes of open play together.
30 min guided
- You're in the water together, so your child learns new skills with the person they trust most.
- An instructor guides every hold and movement, so you leave knowing how to support your child in the water.
- Kicking, floating and water-on-the-face practice, so your child builds a foundation for independent lessons.
- Songs, bubbles and monthly themes, so each week feels new and toddlers stay engaged.
- A first step toward private 1:1 lessons, so you have a clear path as your child grows.

Why Colorado Springs Families Start at Little Fins
You're part of every lesson
Babies learn new things when they feel safe. Aqua Babies keeps you right there in the water, so every lesson doubles as time together, and many families say it becomes the favorite part of their week.
Warm water, all year
Our indoor pool stays at 94°F, warm enough for infants to stay comfortable the whole lesson, whatever the Colorado Springs weather is doing.
Small by design
Lesson sizes are kept small on purpose, so your instructor can give you individual tips while your child enjoys being around other little ones.
A path that grows with them
For many Little Fins families, Aqua Babies is the first step before private 1:1 lessons. Your instructor can help you know when your child is ready for the next stage.
Questions Parents Ask First
Do I need to know how to swim?
No. Every activity happens in water where adults can stand comfortably, and your instructor guides you through every hold and movement.
Who can come in the water with my child?
One adult per child is required, and up to two adults can join. Parents, grandparents, nannies and other caregivers are all welcome, as long as they’re comfortable in the water and can support the child’s weight.
What if my baby cries?
What if my toddler won't sit still?
