At Little Fins Swim School, we believe water safety education should begin early — before families ever step foot in a pool.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with UCHealth to help share water safety education with new parents and babies across Colorado Springs. Through this partnership, families welcoming a new baby at UCHealth facilities will receive water safety resources designed to support safe, confident beginnings around water.
Colorado is a unique place to raise a family. While many of us don’t grow up with backyard pools or ocean access, we are surrounded by lakes, rivers, reservoirs, and outdoor recreation. That reality makes early water awareness and education even more important.
Drowning is preventable — and education is one of the most powerful tools we have.
By reaching families at the very beginning of their parenting journey, we hope to plant seeds of awareness around:
