Roots & Wings Math
What if building strong math foundations and positive math mindsets with your preschooler felt as natural as signing up for swim lessons?
Just like becoming water-safe, developing strong early math skills is a protective measure. Kids who start kindergarten without them are likely to struggle throughout their entire school math journey. With the right support from you, your young child can grow into a confident, curious, and capable math learner from the start.
That’s the idea behind the Roots and Wings Math, founded by longtime local math teacher (and Little Fins parent!) Erin Wahler-Cleveland. Each week, Erin shares a newsletter giving simple ways to explore early math through everyday moments—mealtimes, play, even story-time.
