Mermaid Tails/Skins and Monofins:
Due to the risks associated come with mermaid tails/skins Little Fins will not provide the mermaid tail/skin fabric. Little Fins will have monofins for swimmers to borrow, if you don't have your own. If you would like to bring your own mermaid tail/skin fabric you are welcome to do so. We will teach our mermaids safety techniques when using tails/skins.
If purchasing your own mermaid tail and/or monofin please be aware of the risks involved. Mermaid tail fabrics can be dangerous if they are not used properly or are ill fitted. For more information on mermaid tail fabrics please talk to a Little Fins Mermaid Instructor.
Swimming Skills Required:
Participants must have passed the first 3 swim levels at Little Fins or be at least 8 years of age.
Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool on the surface, and be comfortable swimming underwater in both the shallow end and deep end. If you are unsure if your swimmer qualifies for the program, please contact Little Fins to set up a free trial lesson with a Mermaid Instructor, where we will do a quick assessment to determine if your swimmer can participate, or if they may need lessons first to be able to qualify.
Class Schedule: Currently offered in 6 week Clinic Sessions. Sign up for the entire session or purchase a single lesson. Space is limited and clinic participants receive preference on the roster. Single class purchases will be scheduled based on availability.
